At Mid-Valley Community Clinic, we believe in our staff. Each member of staff is employed as much for their amazing personalities as they are for their knowledge and skills. We strongly believe in working as part of a team where each person is just as important as everyone else. Our doctors, nurses, support and front of house staff all work together to give you, the patient, the best possible care.
Growing To Meet Your Needs
Our team has continued to grow over the years and now comprises of over 15 qualified, caring and compassionate staff members. The vast majority of us have been a part of Mid-Valley Community Clinic for many years, bringing with us a wealth of professional and personal experience. This experience enables us to interact with our patients on an individual basis and to help them find solutions to a wide range of medical and personal issues.
Local Knowledge
Knowledge of the local area, and the problems that our patients face, is important to us. To this end, we try to employ local people whenever possible, with the majority of our professional team growing up in the Sunnyside, Wa area. As well as giving us an unsurpassed insight into the daily lives of our patients, this also means that we have detailed knowledge of the services that are available locally. As a result, we are able to provide a complete service, and treat patients locally wherever possible.
Removing Barriers To Care
It is part of our mission to help those who use our services to overcome barriers in accessing the best possible medical care; language can be one of the most difficult barriers for our patients. Employing team members who grew up locally means that 80% of our staff members are bilingual. Our Hispanic patients are encouraged to make the most of this, and will be seen by someone who speaks Spanish.
Qualifications And Quality Of Service
Our nursing staff members are all highly qualified and hold AAMA certification. This high level of qualifications means that we are able to carry out a wide range of procedures and examinations. It also means that we can confidently assist in more complex examinations and provide our patients with support and advice on a wide range of subjects.
Working at Mid-Valley Community Clinic is not like any other job; it is a calling that we take to heart. Care and compassion are qualities that our patients value highly and it is not possible to be a member of the team without them. A family practice requires us to be able to work with everybody, from the very youngest to the very oldest, and to be able to calm the fears and concerns of everyone. We personalize our approach to fit the individual and their specific situation.
